Jason Jaworski Named Director of Player Development & Strength Conditioning

Des Moines Buccaneers AAA’s Director of Hockey Operations Drew Darwitz announced today that the organization has hired Jason Jaworski as Director of Player Development & Strength Conditioning.  

In his role, Jaworski, will be responsible for working with the team's hockey operations department to assist in the development of Bucs AAA prospects, both on and off the ice. He will serve as a liaison between the hockey operations department and prospects in the organization and assist in the evaluation of the team's prospects. 

“With the direction we are striving for within the Bucs AAA organization, and the knowledge Jason brings he will be valuable to the development of all players within the Des Moines area.” Darwitz said. 

Jason brings wealth of experience both on and off the ice with playing many years in Jr, College and Pro hockey. In the last few years Jason has been a skill developmental coach for USHL and major AAA teams along with owning one of the nation’s top Spring/Summer programs in HD Engine Hockey. “I have a great passion for developing hockey’s youth, giving the opportunities to kids in non-traditional hockey areas” Jaworski said. 

Jason and his wife Amber live in Pella, IA with their four kids Kadence (13) Sarvir (10) Emisyn (8) Poland (5).
